Hauling Nasty Stuff to the farm today!

What happens here

After the hay bales are loaded and partially spread in the dump truck bed, manually remove any wooden side panels that might hinder further spreading or dumping. Once the truck is properly positioned on the 'dead land,' raise the dump bed to release the hay. The hay, now somewhat broken up from the tractor spreading, will fall onto the ground. Drive the truck slowly forward while dumping to distribute the hay more evenly across the bare soil. This layer of old hay acts as valuable carbon material, which will decompose, foster fungal growth, and ultimately build a healthy ecosystem to support new forage.

Goal: Distribute hay evenly over areas of poor soil.
