What happens here
While keeping the painter's tape taut with one hand, use your other hand to firmly roll the paint roller along the sticky surface of the tape. Apply gentle but consistent pressure to ensure the entire nap of the roller sleeve comes into full contact with the tape. Continue to roll the paint roller back and forth or in one direction across the tape, allowing the adhesive to pick up loose fibers. As the section of tape becomes saturated with lint, pull off the used portion and advance to a fresh, sticky section of tape. Repeat this rolling process over new tape sections until no more lint is visibly transferring from the roller onto the tape.
Goal: Effectively remove all loose lint from the paint roller
