Handy little tool for installing flooring. #tools #handy #cooltools #floorinstaller #undercutsaw

What happens here

Upon completion of all necessary cuts, the small sections of wood that have been undercut from the bottom of the door jambs and baseboards need to be removed. Use a suitable tool such as a pry bar, a wood chisel, or a small metal spatula (as demonstrated in the video) to gently pry and extract these cut pieces. They should come away with relative ease, leaving a clean, precisely sized recess. After all the cut sections are removed, thoroughly clean the entire work area of any sawdust, wood chips, and other debris. This can be accomplished with a vacuum cleaner or a broom and dustpan, ensuring the subfloor is clean and ready for the smooth installation of the new flooring.

Goal: Clear cut wood sections and prepare the subfloor for new flooring.
