What happens here

The process begins with carefully pouring the pre-mixed clear epoxy topcoat from a white bucket directly onto a section of the flake-coated floor. As the epoxy is poured, a worker immediately follows with a long-handled squeegee, specifically a floor squeegee with a rubber or foam blade (like the Wooster brand visible on the handle). The squeegee is used to quickly spread the fresh epoxy from the poured lines into a uniform layer over the flakes. This initial spreading ensures the material covers the area efficiently and prevents it from pooling excessively before the next phase. The workers wear spiked shoes while performing this action to avoid disturbing the wet surface.
