Getting perfect cabinet door finishes! Apollo Precision-6, Renner 851, PaintLine Twirly HD. #howto

What happens here

Begin by setting up the HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray system, such as the Apollo Spray unit shown, in a dedicated work area. Ensure the unit is plugged into a power source and that the air hose is connected to the spray gun. Create a temporary spray booth using plastic sheeting to contain overspray and dust, and install a ventilation system, like the orange flexible duct leading to a window, to exhaust fumes and ensure air quality. Adjust the air pressure on the HVLP system as needed for your specific paint and desired finish (e.g., 7.3 PSI is displayed at the start of the video).

Goal: Create a safe and efficient workspace for spray painting.

Tools and materials

  • Air Hose — Delivers air from the HVLP system to the spray gun
  • Exhaust Fan — Moves air and paint fumes out of the spray area
  • HVLP Spray Gun — Applies paint in a fine, even mist
  • HVLP Spray System Apollo Spray — Provides high volume, low-pressure air for paint atomization and transfer
  • Plastic Sheeting — Creates a temporary spray booth to contain overspray
  • Power Cord — Connects the HVLP system to an electrical outlet
  • Ventilation Duct — Routes air and fumes away from the work area
