What happens here
Once all desired coats of paint have been applied and the painting process is complete, carefully hang the HVLP spray gun on its designated stand. Proceed to turn off the HVLP system (as indicated by the pressure dropping from 7.3 PSI to 2.5 PSI and the system eventually powering down). Allow the freshly painted workpiece to cure in a dust-free environment for the recommended time according to the paint manufacturer's instructions. Finally, perform a thorough cleaning of the spray gun, paint cup, and air hose immediately after use. This prevents paint from drying inside the components, which can lead to clogs and damage to the equipment.
Goal: Ensure proper drying of the workpiece and maintain equipment.
