What happens here

Once the grain filler is completely dry and hardened, use an orbital sander equipped with appropriate grit sandpaper (e.g., 220-320 grit for a fine finish) to sand the entire surface. The goal is to remove all excess grain filler from the surface, leaving only the filler that has settled into the wood grain. Continuously move the sander to avoid creating depressions or uneven areas. It is highly recommended to use a sander with a dust collection system or connect it to a vacuum cleaner to minimize dust, and always wear a dust mask and safety glasses to protect yourself from airborne particles.
