What happens here
Before painting, ensure the work area is well-ventilated and preferably within a makeshift spray booth to contain overspray. Put on a respirator, safety glasses, and gloves. Prepare your HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray gun by filling it with your chosen dark blue/green paint. Begin by applying the first coat of paint in smooth, even passes across the surface of the furniture piece. Maintain a consistent distance from the surface and overlap each pass by about 50% to ensure uniform coverage. Pay attention to all edges and corners. This coat serves as a base layer and may not achieve full opacity.
Goal: Apply an initial even layer of paint to the prepared surface.
