Franky almost killed me trenching an underground line.

What happens here

The creator travels to Rogers, Minnesota, to Top Notch Equipment to pick up the trencher attachment. After arriving, he meets with Dustin from Breiwick Companies, who provides the trencher. A large forklift is used to carefully load the heavy trencher attachment onto the bed of the creator's truck. The trencher is secured onto a wooden pallet for stability during transport.

Goal: Safely acquire and transport the trencher attachment

Tools and materials

  • Forklift — Loading the heavy trencher attachment onto the truck
  • Pickup Truck Ford F-150 — Transporting the trencher attachment
  • Trencher Attachment — The primary tool for digging the trench
  • Wooden Pallet — Providing a stable base for the trencher during transport

we made it is dustin around oh there he is hey dustin how you doing buddy good i'm doing good thanks you good good to see you again hey one question for you brywick companies yeah that's your company right yeah that's your maintenance company i was telling these guys you kind of don't look forward to snow removal do you you had a really bad experience one day you had like all of your crew abandoning you and then you had some family problems going on at the same time and that pretty much scarred you scarred me like i said i have ptsd of for snow removal and like two days before i know a storm is gonna hit i don't sleep i don't eat i just sit and try to figure everything out and uh i learned you know i'm very organized everybody has their what needs to be do yeah certain people call certain people to make sure that they're on site and i actually i kind of learned that if i start like four or five hours before anybody even just to come to the shop and just i don't know start doing something today yeah instead of sit with your mind whirling get the trucks going and stuff then i feel perfectly fine it's just the anticipation of it all okay it's really tough so that's the same issue that i have i'm usually i'll be the first one right out to the site because i just want to start getting everything rolling as the owner i don't know if you guys ever experienced this but i get super stressed anxiety before an event three days before i see the snow i'm like who's gonna be there who's not gonna be there what equipment will run what equipment's going to break down you know because you got a timeline you got it you gotta your back is against the wall so you gotta nail it yeah it's one of those things if you have that problem there's you just find what works for you like i don't even sleep in my own bedroom i have a room in my house my porch and that's where i go to like i'll sleep on the i'll sleep in there that's like my zen room yeah it kind of calms me yeah it's just separate and a lot of windows in there i can watch the snowfall drop yeah i just learned over the last like six seven eight years of like little things like if i do this it makes it a little bit better if i do that it makes a little bit you have a severe anxiety because from a traumatic snow plowing event but yet you still plow snow still plus now all right give her a little push forward we'll snug her right in
