Ford trucks "SECRET" button

all right you guys when I bought my Ford truck the dealer I bought it from showed me this button and it makes a huge difference huge difference and it may be on some of your guys' trucks and the reason I say that is because when I showed that in the original video my phone started to blow up with people saying I tried it on my truck and I've got the same button and it's a major thing it's not a little thing you guys but before we get into that I got a Father's Day gift I want to hang and I need your opinion do we stick with the lion or do we go with this more all right let's see which one do we go with you guys tell me in the comments down below all right my son's got good taste it was a Father's Day gift you are a really really great dad the best dad really terrific just fantastic other dads losers total disasters everyone agrees you are the best believe me all right that's not why you two did but I do want to hear lion or this let me know in the comments below now let's head outside and I want to show you a Ford secret button all right now there is a chance but it's only a chance that your truck could have this secret button I currently own four Ford trucks and I checked all four and only one of them has the secret button I also own a couple Ram trucks and those come already equipped with this secret button integrated into the controls so on Ford's truck it's completely optional um now if you don't know who I am my name is name is Stan genetic welcome to the channel if you're a first time viewer and the reason I say what I own for pickup trucks is because over the last what 30 35 years I've probably owned somewhere around 15 to 2 Ford trucks among other brands and I never knew about this secret button until the dealer specifically pointed it out to me and said lookie here and that's where we're going to go but before we go look at that secret button there is a different option that I want to talk to you about it's not secret but if you're like me you may not have used it ever and I've never used this option but Zach has been using this option we're going to show you this other option this other thing that is probably in your truck or maybe in your truck that you're just not utilizing now Zach and I kind of split up our time the difference between our time driving this truck this is a 2022 or 2023 I can't remember what year the secret button that's on it goes way back though it's not limited to new trucks new vehicles but what I'm telling you about this truck is this is a newer model and Zach and I probably between the two of us spend an equal amount of time driving this truck and before I show you the secret button I want to show you something Zach's been experimenting with and it's made a huge huge difference in this truck now this is just a gaser this is not the secret I want to make sure we're very very clear on this but they have drive mode if you haven't experimented with drive mode yet absolutely experiment with drive mode I never believe I never experiment with any of those things I just don't do it but he has been now between the two of us hike and loads cuz we we Trail this truck is constantly trailering may even have a trailer on even as we speak no doesn't this truck constantly trailers and we just put it in normal mode so let's look through the five modes it has it has drive mode and that's the one I typically stay in I don't mess with it but Zach's been lately putting it into eco mode right here the per the the Improvement in performance including towing and Hauling has been unreal it actually works we're talking about we're seeing a 10 to 15% Improvement in fuel economy by going into eco mode now when you go into slippery mode or deep snow sand I haven't played with those modes I I just I don't play with them that's on Zack I have used to Hall and what that does is that downshifts and keeps you your changes your RPM on your transmission matching up with your engine depending on the towing conditions if you're going up a hill it's going to monitor that and it's going to improve your performance for towing and Hauling it's also going to be a decrease in your fuel economy as far as deep snow and sand OD slippery conditions deep snow and sand have not played with this so if you have let me know what you think of it but I want to get to the thing that you really got you guys here and that's Ford's secret button and it's right wait a minute we got something else I want to show you before I show you secret button all right so let's just be clear I'm going to show you the button right now and it's a huge button but this truck is a completely stock truck I have not even changed the tires on this truck so this is just your stock gaser by Ford F250 I pulled it straight out of the lot it doesn't even have power seats because there was a chip shortage um when they were making these trucks and an overall shortage in these trucks but it still has the secret button and that secret button is right here this is it now I don't want to disappoint you guys but this is an actual huge freaking button it's not just two wheel and four-wheel and four-wheel low it actually has this little sign right here that says pull and when you yoink when you yo that button out it locks your axles out and this turn it turns this thing into a beast now my Ram pickup trucks automatically integrate that that feature but not every Ford truck has that feature in fact this is the first Ford truck that I own that actually has that feature we're going to go check one of my other Ford trucks right now and see what the knob looks like that does not have that feature but yoink your knob yes I am telling you guys yoink your knob knob why not try it if that knob yoinks out and makes a people were texting me a I didn't know I even had that boom I pulled out my knob and boom we've got it we've got it locks out your diff it just it's a diff lock ties them axles together but let's go morning we've got rain every day this week forecast we've had so much rain the rivers are flooded and all is rain we can't work if this would have just came 3 months earlier it would have been white falling from the ground and I'd be making money hand over fist dry as winter wet as spring everything balances out in Minnesota so let's go off we've got a package showed up that has to be assembled Zach when you watch this movie or Zack when you watch this video you got something to to do Zach's actually working on a crew working on Alex's crew right now but all right let's go in here I guess he can't break it into my truck oh the protection system I activated the alarm system yeah that was one of my security systems right there all right let's go see how the other truck does and what that looks like what now you guys are coming up huh now okay all right so of course the very next thing I do when I realized that the new Ford has the yoink button I checked this one and although it doesn't have the symbol worse yet it doesn't have the yink so let me know so if your truck has the yoink button I'd love to hear from you guys cuz from the first video I did you guys were texting me I tried it and it worked it's like phenomenal and it was just a small segment in the first video had nothing to do with it so I thought well let's put that out there for the world and see if more of you such a huge difference in how your truck operates and if I didn't make it clear what that does is that locks out your axles it improves your Traction in Slippery uh compromise conditions um my Rams it's automatically integrated and the Rams just seem to go better with my forward in the back it's not automatically integrated but as soon as it starts snowing I pull that I yoink that button out and
