Floor Demo + OUR FOUNDATION IS CRACKED! || Concrete Slab House (Ep.2)

What happens here

To finalize the subfloor preparation, a large walk-behind concrete grinder equipped with a helical head (diamond tooling) is used. This heavy-duty machine is connected to a HEPA vacuum system to control dust and is operated across the entire concrete slab. Its purpose is to remove any remaining thin-set, mastic, paint, or other residues from the previous flooring and to micro-level the slab, resulting in a smooth, clean, and perfectly flat surface ready for new flooring installation. The operator wears a full-face respirator for maximum protection from fine dust particles.

Goal: Surface grind the concrete slab using a walk-behind grinder with a HEPA vacuum to remove residual adhesives and level the floor, creating a clean base.
