Sand Bondo to a Smooth Finish

What happens here

Allow the Bondo to dry completely, which is crucial to avoid ruining your abrasive. Using the same power sander and dust collection system, sand the Bondo until it is perfectly flat and seamlessly integrated with the surrounding trim surface. The red color of the Bondo will guide you, indicating where more sanding is needed. Sand until only the filled area is visible, ensuring no ridges or excess material remains. Avoid over-sanding, which can damage the trim itself.

Goal: Once Bondo is completely dry, sand it down to achieve a perfectly flat and smooth surface, using a power sander and taking care not to sand through to the trim.
