So a few tips when it comes to painting shakes right there So I got these shakes up there. They're just composite Siding in the same as the siding down here. So I actually paint them But I want them to look like true shakes So I always paint them flat Used emerald rain refresh and rain refresh looks absolutely amazing up there on the shakes Another thing is is pain them you'll vertically your shakes are running vertically don't spray them horizontally If you use cheap bait you can end up seeing horizontal flashing on them So I spray I'm vertically another thing I do is I spray I'm spraying my gun tip upwards I'm spraying it an upward motion because those shakes are flat they got flat bottoms And if you spray straight on the flat bottoms aren't gonna get painted and they're flat and porous So you want to definitely be shooting paint up and underneath those shakes So just a few simple tips and tricks to get your shakes looking like true shakes look amazing
