Laying Sod

What happens here

With the soil finely graded and prepared, pallets of sod rolls are brought to the site by the Caterpillar 259D skid steer. Workers then carefully unwrap each roll of sod, typically using a utility knife to cut the plastic packaging. The sod is then laid out across the prepared ground, with each strip placed tightly against the previous one to eliminate gaps. The workers ensure that all edges meet seamlessly and trim any excess sod to fit the exact contours of the yard or existing structures.

Goal: Cover the newly graded area with rolls of sod to establish an instant lawn.
