Finishing Touches On A HUGE Backyard Transformation!

What happens here

Apply a two-part resin-based jointing material to the paver joints. First, clean the paver surface and ensure it's dry. Mix the two-part resin according to manufacturer instructions using a dual-paddle mixer to ensure thorough blending. Pour the mixed resin directly onto the pavers and spread it evenly across the surface using a squeegee, working it into all the joints. Continuously spray water on the pavers to help the resin flow into the joints and prevent it from drying on the paver surface. Use brushes and brooms to work the resin into the deeper parts of the joints and remove excess material. Rinse the pavers thoroughly to wash away any remaining residue.

Goal: Fill paver joints with resin for stability and weed prevention.

[Music] And again, you can be quick with the water on it, cuz it'll help with the flow. >> We'll work our uh We can just screed for now. Uh I would say I'd say we could screed right here. Okay. Do this whole section and work our way that way. I wouldn't mind doing the pool wall first cuz that means we're way over there and then coming back. [Music] Give it a little more. Yep. Keep moving it around. And just work it in. I should HAVE REMOVED THE [Music] JUST SO I HAVE A CHANCE TO HELP YOU GUYS OUT A LITTLE BIT. DID I get you wet? I'm sorry. No, you're good. So, we're uh using a new type of jointing material. It's a a first two-part resin. So, if you want your joints locked in for justice, this is going to do it. But, uh we'll see how the process goes. A little bit more I don't know if it's necessarily more work yet, but uh more steps to remember, so good thing I'm great with following instructions and not doing things out of order. So, this should be great. But, uh definitely has a little bit more flow to it initially right out of the bucket, which is great. That float time does run out. So, that's why you're moving a little quicker during this process. And again, with GFTK, you can use just about as much water as you need.
