Fencing on STEEP HILLS! Day 2 Farm Fencing Competition!!
What happens here
The announcer welcomes everyone to the final day of the 2019 Fall Fence Forum Competition, featuring four teams. He thanks sponsors: Tornado Wire (providing wire), American Timber and Steel (sponsoring posts), and Strainrite from New Zealand (tools for straining wire). Judges Kenny Campbell (Tornado Wire) and Axel Borris (FenceFast) are introduced. A brief safety meeting is held before the competition starts. Competitors are instructed on wire spacing: a 3-inch gap between the ground and the first plain wire, then a specific pattern of 3-inch and 2-inch gaps for the remaining wires and barbed wire up to the top of the post. Post types (wooden or steel) are chosen by teams, but all posts must be plumb, level, and square to the world.
Goal: Review final competition rules, sponsors, and judging criteria.
