Moving to the Next Post and Inspecting Results

What happens here

Once a post is driven, raise the post driver clear of the ground using the hydraulic lift control on the tractor. Move the tractor forward to the location of the next fence post. Before driving, inspect the top of the driven posts. The Shaver post driver is designed to minimize damage to the top of the posts, often compressing the wood slightly rather than splintering it. Be aware that posts with existing cracks can splinter or bust out during driving, so inspect posts beforehand and monitor them as they are driven.
