Modify and Reconnect Pump Assembly

What happens here

Upon closer inspection of the leaking quick-connect fitting, it is observed that a small, seemingly unnecessary, plastic adapter piece is preventing a secure connection between the brass fitting and the pump. This plastic piece is removed, allowing the brass quick-connect fitting to directly attach to the pump. The pump assembly is then reinstalled and secured.

Goal: Eliminate leaks at the pump connection.
