Epoxy Floor Clear Coat Application. Garage Floor Epoxy Instructions. DIY Concrete coatings.

What happens here

The first step involves ensuring the garage floor is clean and ready for the clear coat. This includes blowing out any debris. It's crucial to apply 1.5-inch painter's tape along the edges of the floor where the clear coat should not be applied, such as where the garage meets the driveway, to ensure a clean line. Gather all necessary tools, including an extension pole for the roller, a separate bucket for mixing, a 4-inch roller with a mohair nap, and a brush for cut-ins.

Goal: Ensure the garage floor is clean and all necessary tools and materials are ready for application.

What they say

Hide

that we get our inch and a half tape along the edge cuz we don't want to get any of the clear coat on the the portion of the the garage or driveway that we're not doing. We want to have a nice clean line. And um a couple of tools you're going to want to have is just an extension pole with your roller. We're going to take our blower, blow it out, make sure there's no debris on the floor. And then we're going to be using just a bucket, a 4-in roller, 4-in nap, and a brush to do the cutins. So, here we go.
