Applying the First Coat of Paint

What happens here

Begin applying the first coat of paint. Following the previously discussed technique, first spray the edges of the door, then proceed to spray the face of the door. When spraying the face, start at one end, move the gun in an upward pass, and then immediately return with a downward pass to ensure the first section receives two coats and maintains a wet edge. Continue this process, overlapping each pass by 50% until the entire door face is coated. Maintain consistent speed and distance from the door to ensure an even application.

Goal: Apply a complete and even first coat of paint to the door.
