Disassemble the Trimmer Head

What happens here

Begin by removing the trimmer head cover. On this specific Black & Decker GrassHog XP model, there are two tabs on opposite sides of the trimmer head. Press these tabs inward simultaneously to release the cover plate. Once the cover plate is removed, the inner spool, which holds the trimmer line, can be easily lifted out. The video demonstrates that the existing trimmer line on the spool is completely depleted, indicating the need for re-stringing.
