You ever went to go hook up your garden hose to your sprayer attachment and found your hose looking like that And there's absolutely no possible way. It's gonna go together Hey folks, that fix the guy here today. We're gonna be looking at this garden hose Somebody ran it over. I don't know who I don't know how But it's very been out of shape. So We're gonna go ahead. I'm gonna show you how to do a quick fix on this It's quick. It's easy. Anybody can do it. So come along. Let's get the fixing So if you have a brand new garden hose that has got the insmashed Well, this is gonna be a good easy fix for that. This material right here. It's just very thin brass and so It's malleable. It kind of bends really easy And what we're gonna do today is we're actually gonna swap it out and we're gonna put something a little more heavy duty in there So I just ran up to the hardware store and I bought this hose repair So this is gonna be the male adapter. We're gonna just be able to cut the line We're gonna be able to put this in there use a pipe clamp and clamp it in place super simple You have this fixed up and back to running and no time the first thing we'll do is either we'll take I have some cutters here You know, you've seen these in a lot of other videos. These are just some PVC cutters that I have that you definitely can use these For cutting hose as well. It's a good tool to have just around the house I'll put a link in the description box below But you could also just use your leatherman or use a knife just something all you want to do is just cut the hose off We don't really want to take any length away from it. So we just give that a shot and boom and next Just take this brass adapter piece out here So a quick lesson with this. This is a male adapter by hose barb fitting So the male adapter portion works the same as the birds and the bees right like male and this is female You stick the male inside the female and that's how it works So then the next thing we're gonna do is we're gonna take this hose clamp and We're going to slide this over the pipe And we're gonna take the barb side of this fitting and we're just gonna put it right down here inside of this hose We'll put this up maybe give it about a quarter of an inch off of it and that's where we'll hold that And so then we'll take this we'll hold this in place right there and We'll tighten it up. So in this case, I'm gonna take my six-o-one screwdriver and I'm going to use the nut driver portion of this. It just works out so much easier for tightening up these worm clamps I like it about a quarter inch away from the top of that So then we'll just go ahead and start tightening this up if you guys like this kind of content If you could please subscribe to the channel click that like button. It'd be greatly appreciated Top the bell icon and get notified when a new video is coming out We'd love to have you keep coming back Got plenty of stuff to show you and so you just tighten this down just get it hand tight and It's good to go just kind of bend that down a little bit there and Wall-ah now you're able to add your fittings with ease And this piece right here is a much heavier brass. You're not gonna have any issue with that and they do sell cheaper plastic versions of this I just am not into buying something that's gonna break on me in a couple of weeks or In a year, right this piece right here It's gonna last me a lot longer than any other one and I'm gonna have it for a long time Okay, folks, so it doesn't matter which end of your garden hose is got crushed or is bad It's the same repair on the either side. You just got to get different parts I'll put a link in the description box below for both male and female parts I'll show you the tools that I used but really you could use anything a screwdriver and a kitchen knife Whatever all you got to do is be able to cut the hose and be able to put that worm clamp on I really hope this video helped if you could please subscribe to the channel click the like button It'd be greatly appreciated.
