EASIEST FIX FOR AN UGLY LAWN
What happens here
To prevent the matting from shifting or being lifted by wind or growing grass, secure it to the ground using landscape pins (also known as sod staples or U-shaped pins). These pins are designed to rust away after about a year, allowing the established grass to take over. Insert a pin every three feet along the length of the matting, pushing or hammering them flush with the ground. This ensures the matting stays in place until the grass is firmly rooted.
Goal: Anchor the erosion control matting to the ground for stability.
