What happens here

Position the routed composite top rail onto the metal railing, ensuring the routed channels align perfectly with the brackets, allowing the board to sit flush. Use a large clamp (e.g., a bar clamp or F-clamp) to press the composite board firmly down onto the metal railing, ensuring a tight fit. Drive two-inch screws (or appropriate length to prevent piercing the top surface) from the underside of the metal top rail into the composite board. This method conceals the fasteners, maintaining a clean aesthetic.

Goal: Fasten the routed composite top rail to the metal railing structure to create a stable and decorative surface.
