Install Post Base Trim

What happens here

Once the railing posts are securely lagged down to the deck, slide the decorative metal post base trim over the post base. These trims typically feature small set screws on the bottom which can be adjusted to ensure the trim is level and sits snugly against both the post and the deck surface. This step hides the unsightly lag screws and provides a clean, polished appearance.

Goal: Secure the decorative metal trim around the base of the railing posts, concealing mounting hardware and providing a finished look.
