Does toothpaste really work to clean headlights? Let's just see!

What happens here

Before applying any cleaning compounds, thoroughly clean the headlights and the surrounding painted or chrome surfaces. Use a foaming glass cleaner, such as Sprayway Glass Cleaner, to saturate the headlights. Allow the cleaner to sit for about one minute to loosen dirt and debris. Then, use a clean microfiber shop towel to wipe away all the glass cleaner, bugs, and other grime from the headlight and adjacent areas. This prevents any debris from scratching the lens during the polishing process.

Goal: Remove surface dirt and debris from headlights
