What happens here

This video demonstrates a plumbing hack for installing a toilet. The user begins by gathering the necessary materials: a toilet bolt, an extra nut, and two extra washers. Then they assemble these parts by placing a washer, a nut, another washer, and a final nut onto the bolt. Finally, this assembled bolt is inserted into the toilet base and tightened to secure the toilet to the floor.

So the toilet bolts actually come with this piece right here for the bottom to keep it in place. I'm not a big fan of these little plastic jobbies, right? I don't want these bolts flexing around all really nearly. So I actually grab a couple. I usually always keep nuts and washers, extra nuts and washers off of old toilets or off of new stuff that I don't use it on. And I just keep these around that way. I can do exactly this. I can take another washer and another nut and I can stick these on the toilet and just make sure that it's secured down here as well. And when I tighten that down, I'm not going to have any issues. So we'll just do that on both sides. Get these bad boys. Get that tighten on there. Those are on. Good to roll.
