The most important thing, guys, about residential electrical is customer service. All right? This ain't the 1970s anymore where you can just show up in your pajamas and your butt crack hanging out and expect to win the job because you're like one of the only six electricians in the town. All right? Customer service, hands down, is number one. You could be the best electrician, the best conduit bender, but if you have no customer service, it means absolutely nothing. All right? Nobody's gonna call you back. Reviews are everything, guys. Nowadays, customers when they want to search for electrician, they're looking at reviews online. All right? I get a bunch of DMs and new apprentices asking, "How can I get hired? How can I become an electrician?" Well, don't state in your interview, "Oh, I'm good at pulling cables. I'm I'm good at bending conduit." State that you're a personable person and that you can drive sales. Because at the end of the day, guys, we might be problem solvers, but we're also a salesdriven industry. Long story short is customer service is number one in residential electrical. Don't forget that.
