DIY Under Staircase Makeover | Closet to Pantry

What happens here

Cut 1-inch wide strips from MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) on a table saw. Prime and paint these strips the same color as the surrounding walls. Using a brad nailer and wood glue, install the painted MDF strips to the back wall of the bar in a decorative pattern (e.g., geometric or chevron). Fill all nail holes with wood filler, sand smooth, and caulk around the edges for a seamless, built-in look. Finally, arrange desired glassware, plates, bottles, and other decorative items on the shelves and countertop to complete the beverage bar setup.

Goal: Cut, paint, and install a custom accent wall using MDF strips in a patterned design, then decorate the finished bar area.

protect the countertop from staining for the X and while I had half a sheet of MDF laying around from a previous project so I cut up a bunch of 1-inch strips on my table saw now MDF is very porous when it comes to painting so to making easier for me I first sprayed two coats of water-based primer using the finish spray attachment from the wagon areflexia 5000 and when the boards were dry I started coming up with a pattern and secured the strips to the drywall using two and a half inch Brad nails after they were hung I filled in all the nail holes using wood filler sanded everything smooth and then cocked around all the edges to give it a smooth built-in finish I sprayed the new accent wall with the same color as they did the walls in the previous step [Music] hey that is it for me this week thanks
