Dishwasher Drain was not Installed Correct...One of Only Two Ways to Fix!
What happens here
Using a flathead screwdriver or a 5/16 nut driver, the clamp securing the dishwasher drain hose to the garbage disposal's inlet is loosened. Once loosened, the hose is carefully pulled off. A small pan or tray is placed underneath to catch any residual dirty water from the hose, as the previous low-lying setup allowed water to sit in the hose.
Goal: The drain hose is disconnected from the garbage disposal and any accumulated dirty water is drained into a tray.
