Deflecting overspray. Simple tip! #howto #diy #overspray #innovate #paintingtips
What happens here
Once the paint has been applied and has dried sufficiently (dry to the touch, but not necessarily fully cured), carefully begin to remove all the masking materials. Start by gently peeling off the brown masking paper, then slowly pull the green painter's tape away from the freshly painted surface. It is crucial to remove the tape at a consistent, shallow angle (ideally 45 degrees) to ensure a clean break and prevent the freshly applied paint from peeling off with the tape. Continue until all tape and paper are removed, revealing the sharp, clean lines of the newly painted wall section.
Goal: Reveal the freshly painted wall section with clean lines.
