Deflecting overspray. Simple tip! #howto #diy #overspray #innovate #paintingtips
What happens here
Before beginning to paint, put on all necessary personal protective equipment, including a respirator mask and gloves, to ensure safety from paint fumes and particles. Once protected, prepare the paint sprayer, which appears to be an airless sprayer, by ensuring it's properly loaded with the desired light yellow paint. Begin spraying the wainscoting section of the wall. Maintain a consistent distance from the wall (typically 10-12 inches) and move the sprayer in smooth, overlapping strokes, ensuring each pass overlaps the previous one by about 50% to achieve an even and streak-free finish. Continue until the entire masked-off section is uniformly covered with paint.
Goal: Apply an even coat of paint to the designated wall section.
