What happens here

This DIY project demonstrates how to effectively remove oil spills and stains from concrete surfaces using 'Oil Away,' an enzyme-infused concrete cleaner. The process involves sprinkling the dry powder onto the stain, brushing it in, and allowing the product to work over time to break down hydrocarbons into CO2, leaving the concrete clean. It's also highlighted as an excellent preparatory step for applying concrete sealants or epoxy coatings.

So basically what you do is you sprinkle the powder on the oil spill on the oil stain. Um then you just brush it in. You let it work. It actually enzyme infused. Those enzymes work down through the concrete actually start breaking down those hydrocarbons in the oil and then it actually gases off as CO2. So the longer you leave it, the more oil it will eat and destroy and the brighter your concrete will be. So, as Chris said, it's actually a great um precursor to actually, you know, laying down an epoxy coating. >> It's actually just a dry product. Once again, no water. I'm just going to open the packet up. I'm going to sprinkle it on the product. I'm going to brush it away. >> Brush it off. Brush it on in. >> Brush it in and just let it set. >> The longer it sets, the more oil it heats. >> Yep. >> That's absolutely incredible. >> A pound of this product will actually uh clean about 120 square ft. So, this will do about 60 square ft. And that's a lot of oil spills in your driveway, but it'll do it. >> There it is. It's oil way. This is the perfect solution to getting rid of oil stains prior to any type of concrete ceiling.
