DECK RESTORATION Using Deck and Dock Stain

What happens here

Begin applying the coating by hand with a foam brush, focusing initially on getting the thick product down into the gaps between each deck plank. Work along the edges of the deck, ensuring thorough coverage and allowing the product to fill any small checks or splinters. Always brush with the grain of the wood to achieve a uniform finish and proper penetration. For a small deck, hand-brushing ensures control and excellent contact with the wood surface, which is crucial for filling imperfections. While an airless sprayer could expedite application, it might not provide the same level of penetration for a thick coating into surface irregularities without back-brushing.

Goal: Carefully apply the thick elastomeric coating into the gaps between planks and along the deck edges using foam brushes, brushing with the grain.
