Day2: Taking out an Old farm | Clearing the pasture, demolishing concrete & removing trees

What happens here

After breaking the concrete into smaller pieces, the compact track loader, now fitted with a grapple bucket, is used to pick up the chunks of concrete. The operator demonstrates the importance of not dropping heavy pieces from a height into a truck or pile, as this can damage the truck or other equipment. Instead, the material should be placed gently. The concrete blocks are stacked against a section of the remaining wall that will also be demolished, creating a temporary staging area to keep the debris clean of dirt for easier disposal or recycling.

Goal: Collect and organize concrete debris for eventual disposal.
