Day2: Taking out an Old farm | Clearing the pasture, demolishing concrete & removing trees
What happens here
The video shows felling additional trees. For one particularly leaning tree, a worker uses a chainsaw to cut the trunk while the compact track loader with the grapple attachment pushes against the tree to guide its fall. The machine provides controlled force to ensure the tree falls in the desired direction, away from structures or other trees. After the tree is down, another worker uses a chainsaw to 'lime' it, cutting off all the branches, while the compact track loader moves the large logs into position for easier cutting and processing.
Goal: Safely fell and cut down trees into manageable sections.
