Install Crown Molding with Brad Nailer

After pre-assembling the crown molding corner using CA glue, Richard proceeds to install the entire section onto the wall. He positions the molding firmly against the ceiling and wall. To secure it, he uses an 18-gauge brad nailer, shooting brad nails in a 'V' pattern (one nail upwards into the ceiling joist/blocking, and another downwards into the wall stud/blocking). This ensures maximum holding power and stability for the crown molding, preventing it from detaching or developing gaps over time. The benefits of pre-gluing the joints are evident, as there are no visible nail holes at the corner seams, only on the flat surfaces that will later be filled and painted.
