Apply and Compact Road Mix

What happens here

Bring in road mix material, which is a blend of sand, various sizes of rock, and aggregate, providing excellent compaction and a solid foundation. Transport the road mix from the delivery truck to the patio area using the Ryobi utility cart pulled by the Ryobi riding mower. Spread the road mix evenly over the compacted soil base to a depth of approximately 4 inches. Use a landscaping rake to achieve an even spread. Once spread, wet the road mix and compact it thoroughly with the plate compactor. Repeat wetting and compacting to ensure maximum density and stability.

Goal: Establish a dense and stable base layer for the pavers.
