What happens here

Before the main equipment comparison, three distinct 20x20 foot areas were excavated. The top 12 inches of existing turf, roots, and soil were scraped up, thoroughly mixed together, and then piled adjacent to each excavation. This creates a challenging and uniform starting point for each equipment type, ensuring a fair test of their capabilities in handling 'unsuitable' mixed material to achieve a finished grade for seeding.

Goal: Prepare uniform test areas with mixed soil and vegetation piles.
