(12,066 characters)Three, two, one, start. This will be my first time actually running it. I'll put on 3D glasses, I'm on the ground and I crawl into the machine. All your engineers, I can hear them chuckling. Okay. Well, we can't do the usual thing. And today, we're going to put the Toro Multi-Force to the test. And of course, we won't be doing it the usual way either. But before testing it, we have to take it first. So, if you're wondering what we're going to do today, we're going to take the Toro Multi-Force with the 5-foot blade and pit it against a pickup truck plowing a driveway. Well, this is not my original idea. I won't claim it. This idea actually came from my friend. His name is Brian from Ring Lawn Care in Stillwater, Minnesota. I started it a few years ago. He and I were chatting and he had purchased a Toro Multi-Force and he said, "You know, my Toro Multi-Force can plow two and a half driveways as fast as my pickup truck can plow one." And I was like, "What?" He was like, " Yeah." He said, "It's very fast. It's very agile and we could go head-to-head and I'd beat the pickup truck." So, that's what we're going to do today. We will see if the person is lying . We'll see if Brian from Ring Lawn Care is telling the truth or if he's exaggerating. And if you're wondering what shovel I'm using, it's called a man plow . My man card just got a little fatter from using this spade. I don't know why Frankie doesn't use it more often. You know, the guys from this company sent it to me and I gave it to Frankie, but he still went to Walmart and bought an $8 plastic shovel and broke it. Actually, let's take a look at one of the shovels. But where is Frankie's shovel? Oh, here it is. How about this? It's worn down to the bottom. It didn't last long, but he liked it. So, what's your favorite shovel? Do you guys use something like this man plow or do you just use the $8 Walmart shovel that Frankie likes? Okay, let's go to Toro now. and went to get his Multi-Force. Alright, we're here and we're going to meet Mike. Mike, how are you, buddy? Good. This is Mike Jagger, right? Like MC Jagger, but Mike Jagger. Yes, that is true. Okay, perfect. Now, you are a lead development engineer, if I'm not mistaken. Yes. Did I call it right, Mike? Yes. Yes. So, I'm the lead development engineer for this Grandstand . So, that means you designed this cool tool from scratch. Yes. I first joined the Grandstand team in 2015. Okay. And I've been working with them ever since . So I spent a lot of time working on the Grandstand project and developing the Grandstand , multi-force, and all the equipment. Perfect. So you are the right person to explain to us how it works. Yes. Okay. So this is a tool carrier. That's what I call these tools , Mike. Is that assumption correct or an accurate description for this? I prefer to call it a multi-purpose machine with many functions. You can use it all season long for a tool that is usually just a lawn mower. You get all season use. Now, what are the main equipment? So, we have the plow that you see here. This is one of the main ones. Yes. Okay. Then we have the Proforce turbine blower. So, kind of a giant leaf blower if you will. Okay. Then we have a snow blower. Snow blower. I saw it come out two years ago. Yes. And we have a snow broom. Okay. And another piece of equipment I want to mention is our mulch bucket or mulch force equipment. It's like a big transporter in front, right? Yes. Okay. You didn't mention one of the main pieces of equipment is a lawn mower. You didn't even mention it. But this is a lawn mower, right? Yes. Yes. This is not an additional equipment as it is the standard configuration. That's how you buy it and it comes with a cutting deck. So, yes, this is a lawn mower. And actually another major piece of equipment that I haven't mentioned is the grass bag for the mower. So you can get double pockets or side pockets. Okay. And that's the patented grass bag option . Then the wheel weight. Is it always attached or is it just for this snow plow attachment? We configured this snowplow with snow tires and wheel weights. Oh, so there are separate tires. Yes. Special for Oke. Yes. It is recommended for use in winter. You get much better traction and plowing ability with these snow tires. Um, grass tires are much better for mowing on grass. Uh, you're not going to damage the grass that way, but the snow tires have a little softer rubber and a more aggressive tread, and that really gives you a lot of traction. So, um, traction is actually really good with this machine when we have Can we, can we bring it in, Mike? That way, if there's wind, I can hear you a little more clearly. Is it okay or not? Um, unfortunately we can't bring it in today. Because inside there is Z. That, yes, is the V1 event. Okay. Okay. I think yes, we can bring him in. We can bring him in. Okay. Come on, let's do that. I'll, I 'll let these guys bring it in with you and I 'll, uh what are we looking at? So, uh Jared, our marketing guy, he's the guy I can ask to get this plow installed right away if needed. So, I just removed the pin there. Quickly remove the hydraulics and open this pin. And then if I Okay, so you take it off in 30 seconds. Is this just for snow plows or does this attachment work for other tools and equipment ? So, it also works for brooms. Okay. Um, it doesn't work with snow blowers. Uh, the snow blower frame is a little heavier. Um, so it's not working there. But brooms and snow plows both use those quick-connect attachments. 30 seconds left. Put it back together quickly. So it's quite easy to mount and dismount the snow plow. But now you're saying if you want to switch from a plow to a snow blower, it might take you 20 minutes of conversion time if you take off the high flow kit in the winter, right? The high flow kit is installed first. You have to install the bracket on that part. If you have it installed, then the high flow can be installed and removed fairly quickly . Okay. And that's it, but for a snow blower, you actually have to remove this quick connect piece. Mhm. And that's a pin connection there. Okay. And then you actually need to bolt the frame to where your deck push support would normally be on a snow blower. So, there are a few bolt connections that you need to attach to the snow blower. It looks like this is a Boss snowplow and it's a 5 foot straight blade, but you've got the extra wings bolted on. Is that true? Yes. And that's the attachment available for the 5-foot plow. So, you actually have a 6 foot length here. There's also a 4-foot plow option if you're in a tighter space , sidewalk, right? It functions exactly like a standard grandstand. Almost all the controls are the same. Set the parking brake, turn your key. Um, you have controls here for your hydraulics. So just lift, lower, and tilt. So this is your rover control. Yes. Right here. And it is hydraulically driven by the transmission. Okay. Um, so when you use hydraulics , the hydraulic flow goes from the transmission to this manifold block. Mhm. Then your controls here operate some solenoids that feed to your lift cylinders and attachments. In this case, it is the slope for the plow. Um, you can also do a Pro Force blower rotation with it. Um, and is there a setting? So, each complement may or may not, sorry, have a separate controller as well, right? This is a universal one that comes with the machine that will plow or run most tools, but there are some that do not use this. So, the high flow hydraulics are driven by the PTO clutch. Okay? So, all your controls remain unchanged with any add-on. These are your control settings. And you have hydraulic functions for your lift and tilt blower. Then your PTO clutch engages the motor for the snow blower and broom. I guess I forgot to mention there are light fixtures here too. Well, this is an optional light fixture . Yes. This is an optional light fixture . Uh, you just press a button on the operator platform. You got the light. Uh, I think each of these lights is about 500 lumens. Then you have the flash on the side. Flashlights are sold separately, but uh they are very useful for plowing situations, driving in low light areas. And now you're an engineer, so you might not know, but do you know how much this setup costs? Uh, unfortunately I don't know how much they cost they never knew. Did they ever know? This will be my first time actually running this machine. So, okay. Cannot be turned on when the parking brake is off. Correct. So, we can't walk. Pull this up. Well, now it's active. Direct action. Yes. Okay. Hello. Down. So, inside Toro, you can wear special glasses and go inside the machine. Yes. Um, yeah. So, actually when we developed it, we didn't have that yet. So, we didn't do that with this version, but there are other attachments that we made afterward that we've implemented. So, when TRX, the giant dingo, the monster dingo came out, they took me into a room and I put on 3D glasses. And I'm on the floor , crawling, and I'm inside. And then all your engineers, I can hear them chuckling because I'm actually inside the machine and seeing how all the gears and components and everything are configured . It was like actually being there and stepping into the machine. That's amazing. It's so cool to do that. Yes. Um, it's not like you know it's like if you think of this as a hologram and walk through it and see everything. Yes. That's how it is. That's how it is . It's virtual 3D. Pretty cool. Okay. Let's load this. And I'll take him on the road. Sound like a good plan? Yeah, sounds good. Okay. Thank you, Mike. I appreciate that, my friend. Enjoy. Okay. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. N. Hot. Hot. Hey, hey, hey. Three, two, one, start. There was no way I could be in front of or behind Alex at all. Uh oh. Alex had already pushed the snow out of his driveway. Standing right behind him. Well, he's done and I still have a lot to do. 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Okay, let's see. Okay. One thing we're going to do is like I'm dragging it. Mine is a bit messy. Oh, yours is a mess. Look at this trash. I dragged it four times too . Yeah, it's like Okay. So, let's take a look at the quality, shall we? Different. We are almost identical. This is the result of Alex's reverse drag with the V blade. Well, I'm sure if I practiced with this tool more, I think my scraping results would be better. I think yes, the scraping is better. Yes, but look, here the results are bad. I still have to fix it, so I want a rematch. Yes. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. And we'll be back in just a moment. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Heat it up here. Heat it up here. Heat it up here. Oh yes. Hey you need Okay. Well, I think with a little more practice and time, you can become very proficient using this machine. Yes. It's very easy. And it also depends on your situation. If you're on gravel or something, you can put on tire spikes or chains or whatever, to get more traction . Oh yes. Yes, of course. Alright, guys. Well, I hope you guys enjoyed today's trip and videos like this helped you. You know, hitting the thumbs up button really helps me out and let me know what you think below. How do you think this tool performs? Let me know if you think the performance is up to expectations or did you expect better or worse? What do you expect? I think this tool works better than I expected. I think it might just move snow but not get very good traction. It's just like a trick, oh, we'll put a plow in front of it, then sell it or whatever like some companies do. Yes. But I think with the downward pressure , which is able to transfer the entire weight of the machine to the front of the plow, it really helps. And I was surprised by how good the traction was. I didn't expect the performance to be this good. I thought it would just be a tire slip there. Yes, my friend. They put snow tires on it and they put it on the wheels. So, that's the Toro Multi-Force with a snowplow. And that's our video for tonight. Hope you guys enjoy it. God bless you. Good luck and see you in the next video. See you later.
