Refining Swale and Grading

What happens here

Following the initial excavation, the work continues with the excavator refining the shape and depth of the swale. The skid steer is used to spread and compact the soil, ensuring a stable base for the subsequent drainage layers. A laborer uses a rake to help smooth out the soil and maintain grade, working in conjunction with the heavy machinery. The overall goal is to create a gentle, consistent slope that will effectively channel water away from the house and towards the lower pond area.
