Remove the Filter

What happens here

Once the water has completely drained, reinsert the black plug into the end of the emergency drain hose and place the hose back into its designated holder. Then, slowly turn the large white filter counter-clockwise to unscrew and remove it from the machine. Be prepared for a small amount of additional water to come out as the filter is removed. Examine the removed filter for accumulated lint, debris, and other foreign objects.

Goal: Extract the main pump filter for cleaning.
