Clean the Filter

What happens here

Take the removed filter to a sink and use a paper towel to wipe off the majority of the accumulated gunk, lint, and debris. This pre-cleaning step helps prevent large amounts of debris from going down the drain. After wiping off the larger particles, rinse the filter thoroughly under hot water to remove any remaining residue and ensure it's completely clean. Ensure the small mesh on the filter is clear of any obstructions.
