What happens here

This project demonstrates a clever and effective method for drawing a precise circle of any desired diameter on a metal surface using common workshop tools: a framing square, strong magnets, and a marker. The technique involves establishing a diameter line, then using the magnets as pivot points for the framing square to trace two semicircles that connect to form a perfect circle.

What up? It's Circle Sunday, and today we're going to be drawing a circle on a piece of metal. So, let's get after it. All right, so take your framing square and just wherever you want to draw your circle at to cut it out of your metal, go ahead and do whatever diameter you want. Our case, we're going to do 8 in. So, I'm going to put a line 8 in. Take my magnets and I'm going to put them right on the line. It's important that you put your magnets on the opposite side of where you're going to draw your circle. So, in our case, our line's right here. We're going to draw the top half of our circle first. We want check and make sure that our magnets are 8 in apart. And yes, they are. So, now go ahead and take your framing square in there. And there's one half or quarter, I guess. Start back at the top. Okay, now to do our bottom, we're going to take the magnets and we're going to put them on this side of the line. And just like that, you have an 8-in circle. Draw an 8-in circle or any size circle that you want using a framing square, some magnets, and a writing utensil. Anyways, it's Sunday. I got stuff to do. I'll catch you guys later. Peace.
