CHEAP but BEAUTIFUL Bathroom remodel. Problems with the LOG sink
What happens here
Source black walnut logs and use a sawmill (specifically a Wood-Mizer LT40) to cut them into live-edge slabs of desired thickness. These slabs will be used to create the floating shelves and other countertop surfaces in the bathroom. The video shows the process of cleaning the slabs by brushing off sawdust and ensuring they are ready for further processing. Any pieces with existing cracks are noted for repair.
Goal: Prepare raw black walnut logs into usable live-edge slabs.
