Shape Box Edges by Sanding

What happens here

Once the glue is fully cured, remove all clamps from the assembled box. Use an oscillating spindle sander to carefully sand and shape all the exterior edges of the box. Apply even pressure and move the box smoothly around the sanding spindle to create a consistent rounded or chamfered profile on all edges.

Goal: After the glue has dried, remove the clamps and use an oscillating spindle sander to gently round over or chamfer all the exterior edges of the assembled box, creating a softer and more aesthetically pleasing profile.
