Mark and Cut Phone Slot Piece

What happens here

Take the narrow wood strip created in Step 3. Place your tablet or smartphone on the strip and use a pencil and ruler to mark the exact dimensions of the slot required to hold the device. Then, using a band saw, carefully cut along the marked lines to create the internal phone slot. Ensure smooth and straight cuts for a clean fit.

Goal: Prepare the wood piece for the tablet/phone slot by marking its exact dimensions based on the device, then carefully cutting out the internal slot using a band saw.
