Calling all subscribers! We finally made it to 20K subscribers thank you all so very much

hey folks its Josh Stoney Ridge farmer welcome to the farm vlog today I just wanted to take the time to thank everybody I appreciate you so much following the vlogs for following me here on the farm for following me and mrs. Stoney Ridge and the red beaver got a video coming out with the red beaver tomorrow guys either tomorrow the next day I can't remember but guys I just want to thank you so much for being here with me and for sharing in this experience with me you know a year ago I started the YouTube channel and kind of on a whim my first video was how to sharpen your bush hog blades and you know I was just out in my garage and I was like you know people would want to know how to do this so I did a quick video and then from there we blossomed onto 200 or so videos and then last night we topped 20,000 subscribers which is just amazing we're at 20,000 6:08 today I can't believe it it's just unbelievable that many people would be interested in this way of life as this is real this is a real way of life this is the way we're choosing to live we move from not really the city we I grew up in the country but I kind of kidnapped my wife from the city and we moved out to the country and this is what it's really about guys what's up Paul I just wanted to just let you know how much I appreciate you and and let you know what's to come you know there's a lot of stuff going on here on the farm every day there's so much stuff that it's hard to capture it YouTube actually is taking probably 20 to 30 hours a week just to get these videos out and to record stuff and and and work work with the farm stuff so it takes me about a third longer to get something done on the farm and I apologize if it seems choppy sometimes but I do have tasks that I need to get done here and I've got to do it so I tried to take you guys along with me on the journey and learn a little bit along the way we've got the old Bronco we're gonna be putting that in the garage and do a new brake job on it pretty soon the hundred dollar truck there's going to be updates all sorts of updates on the hundred dollar truck guys I even thought about doing I don't know what it's called where people donate money and we'll blow up the hundred dollar truck I thought it'd be kind of fun but I hate to waste it you know I'm not I'm kind of a utilitarian guy so I think we'll just work on the hundred dollar truck and get it up and running and have a great farm truck anyhow I want to thank Mike a lot for giving me a great deal on that truck he's my neighbor my friend what a great guy he saw the struggle I was going through to find a farm truck and he just kind of jumped at the opportunity to give me a good deal so if any of you guys came over from videos about going to look at vehicles the Craigslist scams or whatever guys this is true farming this is true life and it's not the Discovery Channel and it's not gonna be explosions everywhere and people falling off of roofs I hope it's just gonna be an honest-to-goodness farm and honest to goodness way of life I do have some haters the guys that are leaving these thumbs-down there's like a guy named Jeremy he's leaving a lot of like negative comments I finally banned him from the channel and I hate to do that to anybody he's he's a subscriber but he's a malicious subscriber god I hated to do that I hated to ban him from the channel but he was calling me names and and you know just not gonna stand for that folks I want you to be able to put your kid in front of the TV or in front of your tablet or in front of whatever it is and watch the Stoney Ridge farm that's what I want I don't want cuss words and I don't want maybe there'll be some silliness kind of like in like a Shrek cartoon it might be a little bit of an adult silliness but I don't want your kids to be able to enjoy it okay that's what I want I want them to laugh I want you to laugh I want you to learn and laugh and live with me on the Stoney Ridge farm so guys we've got the Bronco we've got the hundred dollar truck we've got fences to build we've got a cabin to get up we finally got the road all finished to the cabin kind of putting that on the back burner but I'm still in the research phase I think would be really awesome to go and get some draft horses or mules or donkeys and actually build a log cabin with these two hands cutting the logs by hand milling the logs and building a log cabin with just friends and maybe even YouTube viewers so folks I just want to tell you thank you so much I've been here for about a year and three months a year and four months past twenty thousand subscribers and I just wanted to thank you so much for being supportive here on the Stoney Ridge farm now I'm in the Lowe's parking lot got to go in and get some stuff from Lowe's we're gonna build some deer blinds sometime soon two guys so and to that one fellow who's waiting for me to do a chicken feeder or chicken water be patient with me dude be patient I got a lot going on right now and I've already got chicken waters that I could get from the tractor supply store for 25 bucks so be patient with me everything's gonna be freezing up soon we got an 18-degree look now you have an 18 degree day coming up on the farm which means tomorrow morning know the morning after tomorrow I'm gonna be running buckets of hot water to the goats to the dogs to everybody so that we have goats chickens n dogs so that everybody's got good water and I've got some preparations to do tonight and that's why I'm at Lowe's trying to get some stuff together so that my pipes don't freeze so thanks a lot guys come on back and join me here on the Stoney Ridge farm I really really appreciate you and we'll see you next time all right whoo did that seem fake oh one more thing guys click that
