Called in the big guns @downtoearthstone.llc for this waterfall kitchen island!! Looking sleek!!

What happens here

A second, smaller piece of engineered stone is brought into position next to the first large slab, forming a corner. A large Milwaukee speed square is used to ensure that the two slabs are perfectly perpendicular to each other and to the deck surface. Once aligned, additional blue painter's tape is applied along the seams to temporarily hold the pieces in place and protect adjacent surfaces during the adhesive application.

Goal: Achieve perfect ninety-degree alignment and temporarily secure the corner

Tools and materials

  • Blue painter's tape — Temporarily holding the slabs in place and protecting surfaces
  • Milwaukee Speed Square Milwaukee — Checking the perpendicular alignment of the slabs
  • Small engineered stone slab — The smaller side panel forming the corner
