Built In Deck Seating You'll [ACTUALLY] Want To Sit In

What happens here

Before finalizing the couch structure and covering all surfaces, ensure any necessary electrical components are installed or pre-wired. The video shows speaker wires being run across the ceiling joists, which could extend to integrate into the couch structure for outdoor audio. Similarly, if accent lighting or outlets are planned for the couch, their wiring should be laid out and secured within the framing before the composite decking is fully installed. Clearly mark the locations for speakers, lights, or outlets on the frame to make cutouts precise later on.

Goal: Pre-wire and integrate any electrical or audio components within the couch structure.

it and good to go. I'm also going to work on finishing up this bench today. It's taking me a couple days. So, I've gotten distracted, pulled all the other things. But, uh, we're going to we're going to finish this up. I want to get the, uh, the seat done first because then we're going to have our back pieces at an angle. And, uh, it'll just be easier for them to die on top of the deck boards. And then we'll trim that out as well. But, uh, didn't get crazy with doing any type of basket weave or anything in the corner. I didn't want to have solid blocking all the way throughout this corner. So, this is all going to covered with uh cushion anyway, so doesn't really matter. But, this is going to be awesome. It's going to be really nice. And once uh once I finish up all the framing of this, I'll run down the dimensions and details of this again. So, uh you kind of get a sense of why this is going to be more comfortable than just a typical bench seat that you might see on the deck. Heat. Heat.
